Tag & organize

Recap has a managed tag library with colors.

• Create tags on the fly from a trade’s tag picker (+ New tag), or manage them in Settings → Manage tags (rename, recolor, reorder, see usage counts, delete with confirmation).
• Colors are one of eight palette keys (rose, amber, lime, emerald, sky, violet, slate, pink) or a custom #rgb / #rrggbb hex.
• Apply tags to a trade from the Library row, from Tag Trade in the Review screen’s replay deck, or with one click from the Quick Tags card on the Review screen; you can then filter the Library by tag.

Order and color groups

• Set the order. In Settings → Manage tags, drag a tag by its ⋮⋮ handle, or use its ↑ / ↓ arrows. That one order is used everywhere tags are listed: the tag menu, the Library (row chips and the tag filter), the Review screen, and CSV export. New tags go to the bottom.
• Grouped by color. The tag menu lists your tags under a header for each color (the palette name, like Rose or Emerald, or the hex code for a custom color), palette colors first. If you color‑code your tags (say, green for setups, red for mistakes), they sit together. Your own order still applies inside each color. When every tag in the menu is the same color — or the filter box narrows it to one color — the headers disappear.
• Prefer one plain list in your own order? Untick Group by color in tag menus in Settings → Manage tags (it’s on by default, and it’s saved on this computer).

Quick Tags

The Quick Tags card at the bottom of the Review screen’s notes panel shows your eight most‑used tags (counted across all your trades). Click a chip to add that tag to the trade; click it again to remove it. A tag on the trade shows filled with a ✓. The chips don’t move while you’re tagging a trade — they re‑rank by usage when you open the next one. If you’ve used fewer than eight tags, the rest of the card fills from your tag order, so new tags show up too. The card only appears once you have at least one tag.

Trade tags label the whole trade (“A+ setup”, “revenge trade”). To pin a specific instant inside a trade’s replay, use a moment tag — see Review a trade.

Rules & validation

• Tag names are required, up to 40 characters, and unique (case‑insensitive).
• A custom color must be a valid #rgb or #rrggbb hex.
• Deleting a tag shows how many trades use it and requires a confirmation; it’s then removed from all trades.
